You never know me more for you never have felt, the want, the longing, the years that flee, have found me bold. There seems no end to this, but I know that a day shall come, My prayers shall be heard, I shall be blessed with thee.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - a great poetic statement of faith and trust in the Almighty
the want, the longing, the years that flee, There seems no end to this, My prayers shall be heard, I shall be blessed with thee.... An amazing experience from the life of the poet delightfully shared through this lovely poem. It will give solace to women whose dream of becoming a mother takes a couple of years to fulfill. Thanks. Loved reading it.
A lovely and a tender write, May God Almighty bless your family and keep you all safe.
Dear Uzeffa, in the first reading I though u wrote the poem while being pregnant. And then only I understood the central issue of the poem being an issue! The pain has been experessed effectively. I am really glad that we have a poet in our dept. Congrats. Continue. anbudan Nagore Rumi
Thank You Sir for your opinion and your kind words of encouragement. Your words mean a lot to me.
What a poem! It is a spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings. It has touched the core of my heart, dear sister and poet. Thanks.
The anticipation and longing for the FIRST BORN is very interesting. The present day couples plan to postpone the first pregnancy; but it unfortunately gets very much delayed; So in my opinion, the first pregnancy and first delivery must be as early as possible for the newly married.
A very impressive and touching poem, written when the poetess was childless. I take this poem as a prayer that was heard on the skies and she was blessed with a daughter. A nice work.
Uzefa, I could relate with every line you have written here, for I too have passed through such an experience. I got pregnant after twelve years of long waiting! Now from your biography I understand that you too are a teacher! So there are similarities between you and me! When you get time, please read my poem- To My Elder Son. The intensity of your maternal fervour, I can very well feel!
Awesome poem, After a long wait and patience if you are lucky to have first child all emotions flow and you nicely penned it, Thanks for sharing, .....10
