I'm sorry for your loss. Losing a father can be really tough I know. the third paragraph was the most emotional part of your poetry. nicely done. I'm sure he died as a hero to you and everyone he cared for.

Excellent poem, my friend. It really tugs on the heartstrings. I can feel your pain through your words. The idea of such great impending loss certainly stirs the emotions and, I think also the feeling of sheer helplessness to do anything about it. One can take comfort that there will be a grand reunion in the hereafter. Great work indeed. Richard
