To my dearest mom, Sameha Ali Abdullah,
In Heaven, you now reside
Leaving me behind
To navigate this world without your guiding light
Oh, how I miss you so
The memories we shared
The laughter we enjoyed
Now just echoes in the wind
Tears cascade down my cheeks
As I try to come to terms
With the gaping hole left in my heart
Since you departed this earth

Your presence was a beacon of love
A steady hand to guide me through
The trials and tribulations of life
Your wisdom and kindness
Forever etched in my mind
Your sacrifices and selflessness
A testament to your strength
Your love knows no bounds
An everlasting flame burning bright

I remember the way you brushed my hair
The smell of your perfume lingering in the air
The warmth of your embrace
A comfort like no other
I can still hear your laughter
See the twinkle in your eyes
Feel the love radiating from your being
In every memory, you are alive

It seems surreal to think
That you are no longer here
To hold my hand
To soothe my fears
But I find solace in knowing
That you are watching over me
From your place in the heavens
An angel with wings unfurled

I will carry your legacy
Your love and grace
In my heart forevermore
I will honor you in all that I do
And strive to make you proud
Though the pain of your absence is great
I find strength in the memories we made
In the bond we shared
In the love that will never fade

I will live each day
With your spirit by my side
Guiding me through
The trials and tribulations of life
And though I may never understand
Why you were called away so soon
I take comfort in knowing
That you are at peace
In a place where pain does not exist

Rest in peace, my guiding star
