I'm going to the countryside
By crossing the hills and the mountains
To visit the allies and the ancestors
I'm going near the clouds and the heavens
To view the landscape of the cities
And to meditate on the situation of the shantytowns.
I'm going to the countryside
To visit the hills and the mountains.
I'm going where it rains very often
Where the air is fresh and the wind still pleasant
I'm going to rest and relax
Under the shadow of the wondering branches
I'm leaving where there is plenty of sun
Rivers, streams, birds and bees.
I'm going to the countryside
By crossing the hills and the mountains.
I'm going where the weather is always nice
And where the sun's rays are very hot
There, there is a plenty of food and fruits
Darling, I'm going for a stroll in this beautiful country
Where the people are very friendly and very hospitable
I'm bringing some chairs and a long table.
I'm going to the countryside
To live in the hills and in the mountains.
