To Keep The Grains Poem by Nalini Jyotsana Chaturvedi

To Keep The Grains

To keep the grains
From slipping away
I clench my fists
Sand's got to stay
Smiling at me
Joins the sand dunes
And bays

To capture
the Sunshine
In my heart
I try to gather it
At dawn, I do start
The trickster golden
Still steals my spark

To hold the Rainbows
Make them mine
Across the oceans
Mountains I climb
Majestic miracle
Was just a moonshine

The essence
of my spirit
Colours of my soul
Flowers are the reason
Love still
It's pure source

Sparkle of dewdrops
Are tears in my eyes
Shadows of sadness
I try hard to hide.
