To Its Omens Turns Oft, A Day

To its omens turns oft, a day
A traitor. So too youth. The tears
And sunny reversals of years'
Face-changes defend what I say.

To oblige your 'stay as you are'
An accomplice to treachery
Have become. Though heard commendably
This injunction - see how I mar!
