hey, valsa! i've been meaning to visit with your poems and am finally getting round to it. this one is charming and well-written. i hestitated at " brambles of your dark eyes" i suppose because here in the u.s. brambles usually have a negative connotation. but then i thought, ah, yes, one gets caught in, stays in the brambles. good stuff! -glen

An excellent poem of love that holds us spellbound. Deeply passionate and heartwarming. Each and every stanza vividly portrays the kind of love that we so envisioned to have in life. Beautifully written with great rhyme and compelling imagery. Onto my Poem List.

While love arises body and heart are mesmerized with the fragrance of love. It brings feeling in every breath and pulse. The lover or beloved becomes a love-bitten dove. An exquisite inscription has been made on love having an insightful outlook. Marvelous one.10

'My body warmly snuggled close to you Like a crooning, brooding, love-bitten dove' - lines that I loved most. This imagery I often visualize while thinking of love or a loved someone.

This is so passionately written! Expressions like " a river in spate" and " brambles of your dark eyes" elevate the poeticism entailed in this piece, though I'd like to confirm if " brambles" herein refer to the iris or the dark furcations (not the dental term) that sometimes canvas the white part of the eye.
