'Waiting/Like the fallen/Leaves with the/withered look/To be swept up by/A monsoon blow For a new season'...... Indeed we, the people, at the threshold of old age is waiting to be lifted up by supportive hands to welcome a new season of hope and joy just as a fallen leaf waits to be lifted by a monsoon blow of wind....! Beautiful analogy!

Waiting Like the fallen Leaves with the withered look This is exactly how we all feel and look in this testing period. No other way but to wait and watch with patience. Thank you Ma'm for this vivid portrayal of life through your beautiful poem........Hope we all rise..........5 Stars

as we the part of nature always face the day and night where as the day comes to greet another night and night comes to greet next day; winter goes to greet the spring, spring goes to greet summer, green leaf becomes yellow to withered to greet another new green leaf, the old dies to give place the every new, so we fall one time to rise another time

Ma'am autumn so metaphorical compared with child in the lap kicking gently. Very beautiful conception and expression of surprise. Thank-you.

Yes madam, to fall means to rise. In old age people need to rise with the help of their grandsons or grand daughters. After final falling a person gets nascent body like a new leaf of a tree. A well imaginative poem with a philosophical base has been composed by you incisively. Full five stars.
