To Dad Poem by Jonathan H. Scott

To Dad

Oh, Daddy, my dear daddy,
All these things you show to me
Are things that are so out of reach,
And won't they always be?

Oh, Dad, my dad, I hear you,
But these things you want for me
Are things that are so useless now,
And won't they always be?

Oh, Father, my sweet father,
All the things you taught to me
Are things that are so priceless now
And always they will be.
