To Crumble Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

To Crumble

To crumble,
Broken into pieces!

Thing,
Lean,
Small,
Dwarf! !
To crumble;

Crushed!
Very little thing;
Tread down.

Ward, word!
Inward,
Outward,
Forward,
Backward,
Reward!
With the muse of the truth.

Comparative!
Conversation,
Compensation,
Exterior,
Interior,
Edward,
Onward! !
Away from evil works,
Only with the truth.

Mart,
Art,
Chart,
Part,
Counterpart!
Whereunto,
Name and fame,
Same and tame,
But with righteous laws.

Odds of life,
Help,
Helper!
Overcoming the odds,
Along the line.

Life! !
Sometimes like a mountain covered with snow;
To crumble,
Broken down,
Into the night.
