If I recall and read again
those days in love’s long-faded script,

Pain of departure of Celia and the mourning by the poet is amusing. As if words were flowing from the heart. Awesome poem.

Again would I neglect to read the pages of our tenderness, or call to mind the love she poured, the bitter struggle I gave for it? neglecting the pages of tenderness. fine expressions. tony

O joyful nymphs of Bai, the placid lake, Sirens whose voices bring music to my ears, I come now to your sparkling shrine, my forlorn muse implores you. ......beautiful tribute and memorizing poem; sometimes some happiness bring the breaking heart though there are solemn liking and loving. Though everything is good and everyone is good mannered yet a subtle different taste of like makes the wall of separation.

A glowing tribute to departed love, recounting the intensity of love that existed between them when she was around and the vacuum created in his life after her departure and has made his life miserable. A superb love song worthy of selection as classic poem of the day.

A poem in remembrance of the poet's deep love and longing for his beloved with a terrible question lurking in the mind- 'Why could our blissful love not last? ' Thanks for this outstanding poem. I quote: I woo your image that resides in the Makati river we frequented; to the happy berth of boats I trace your steps, among the stones that touched your feet. .................. in constant retrun the tears do flow, .................. I sigh and weep: O hapless fate!

I wish I could understand Tagalos. This translation has a few bumps in the road but captures the essence of this man's sophisticated emotional expressiveness. His painful lost is exquisitely rendered as we all are consumed with his passion.

A wonderful poem from a great Poet. A vivid portrayal of grief and loneliness felt by the loss of a loved one. Eternal love is also painted on the canvas of this profound piece of art. Beautifully crafted and well executed.10+++

everyone has stoppage and has to stop by someone or something. everyone becomes alone on the right path of time....... but time has no stoppage and walks with joy and sorrow to endless....... nice writing- Now as I lie in loneliness, behold wherein I seek relief: each bygone day....... ..... Rise now to shore and field, accompany with lyre this humble song that speaks: if fate this life may snip, .......
