To Be With Me Poem by Dorsey Baker

To Be With Me

big dark brown
beautiful legs kick
the water hard
swim down deep
breathe crystal clear
fresh air
an ocean totally large
you drown yourself
in it's shape and size
the waves the rush
to slumber upon the shore
your tongue
emerges straight from your
mouth
to move
just like a snake
full of poison
to strike at something
it's summer too
and I am very glad
that you have come here
to be with me my dear
