Mmmmmm - some place many of us have been... I'm left asking why (for you or the assumed voice of the poem) is this the dream? I guess I'm looking for another twisted ending, & the twist of the whole hasn't the same surprise as your debutante poem (eg) . It's still beautifully done: you use the language well, & sparingly enough to let the imagination wander........
