To Be Damned
Open, I was,
Giving a damn,
Only to be damned,
Bound to a love aloft,
That handed me the key,
To her hidden cave,
Only to evacuate,
Leaving me stranded,
With tears suffocating.
Alone, in silent pain,
Burning,
With the weight of tears.
