To An Amateur Naturalist Poem by james watkin

To An Amateur Naturalist

Scrape naturalist, with a wire brush
Your muddy infringement's cowhide.
Prompting scant muskdeer, scanter mole
To abuse their own civil side!

Thereafter with 'good host' tagged on
Ungraded the race in you!
Nudged up to St. Francis whom simple
Friendship had but to pursue.
