Great tribute to a sparrow, a bird thought of a pest where I once lived, but a creature made by God.
Oh how beautiful a bird is the swift sparrow. I remember a time when there were so many of them flying around. Now you don't see as many. All you could see was a grey black and white bird jetting through the air. And last but not least do not go near there nest. They will never never let you rest. (smile) . You write very well.
A sparrow is a lovely bird! Earlier, they could be spotted everywhere, on the rails of bridges and eaves of roofs and even sidewalks! Unfortunately they are thinning in number! Nice to see your sparrow collecting weeds to make nest and tend its brood! Enjoyed!
Beautiful " How dost thou sustain hope / When failure hits thy bone? " Nice one, dear poet. Enjoyed
