Sandra S. Corona I cherish my father-in-law,93, who has dementia and congestive, progressive heart failure but, I fear, many other elders are NOT cherished. No one is invisible, jinxed, etc. God doesn't make JUNK! All are His children and we are to HONOR our elders for, as you said in the poem, without them WE would not be.
