Tiny Life Poem by Samuel Mensah

Tiny Life

Oh life,
Oh my tiny life.

It seems you are moving at the speed of light.
I try to retard you with all my might.
But i cant accomplish it with my sight.

Oh life,
Oh my tiny life.

Slow down to give me some faith.
Don't get me killed out of hate.
Slow down for me to mate.
We are not in a race.
Neither is it a chase.
Don't cross the finish line for me to be judged at the gate.
Change your mind for it is never too late.

Oh life,
Oh my tiny life.

How i wish i had the sight.
Just to see at the speed of light.
To slow you down with all my might.
Before i fade and freeze at night.

Oh life
Oh my tiny life
