Give me strength
give me that strength
Oh! Lord

to live up to the hopes

desires
and wishes
of all those
who send lovely
Good wishes
To their poet dear

give me strength as a poet

to compose exquisite poetry

as well as prose
so that all of those
who love me
shall have a friend
for all times to come
who will in their hearts
for ever shall glow
as my poetry does flow

give me the passion

which I seek

to enlighten this world so meek

to raise the hopes
of all humanity
which I wish to serve
with utmost humility
