A great limerick with a meaningful message. Wonderful lines throughout this write that imparts wisdom.
Thank you Rose Marie, I find that Limericks have a great potential for further treatment. But the common perception is that they are slap-stick, or rather bawdy. In Sanskrit there are quatrains called Subhashitas. I have done a free translation of many of them into Limerick format. I find them a very useful tool.
