Time Passes By Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Time Passes By

They were wonderful days,
Those flowers in the meadow,
Danced in the breeze,
So wonderful and gay.
They were fine times,
When we sat making dreams,
Beside the old railway line.
With the sun on our faces,
And a lifetime ahead,
Loving each moment,
So much laughter to share.
Yes, they were good times,
There neath the blue sky,
We took our youth for granted,
Never noticing how quickly,
Time would pass us by.
