Time Never Waits Poem by mamutty CHOLA

Time Never Waits

TIME NEVER WAITS

Your words may tell lie but
Your eyes will tell the truth

Been living with guilt for my follies
My loved ones suffered for my follies

Had never imagined mistake of a second
Could have such fatal consequences

It has been years, waiting for lady luck to smile
I am sure she will come like spring season

Gained wisdom; all these talk of love and loyalty
Are like sunshine; transient, be faithful to who stood by

World says my writings speak of suffering of the poor
Being human how can I detach myself from realities

Journey of life has been lonely like a pol star
My memories have been my sole co-travellers

What to say how I spent this lonely life all by self
Like a thirsty soul despite residing by river side

Never treat your success as final when every thing is transient
Because in this fast changing world change is only permanent

Each success is short-lived since time changes
The time is like river's flow and fleeting clouds.
