Time Keeps Moving All By Itself Poem by Dorsey Baker

Time Keeps Moving All By Itself

Rating: 5.0

Get as much living out of
The time you've got
Ain't got no time to
Watch the clock
Tick tock
Children in the schoolyard
Skip rope
People in the
Workplace grumble
Old people sick
And close to dying
Don't have much time
To worry about time

Dog fetch a stick
Monkey eat
His banana
Time don't bother nobody
It just keeps moving
All by itself
Someone welcomes
A new birth
While another one
Is stricken
With a death
And time keeps moving
All by itself
