This is a better definition of time than physics can provide. I especially like the concrete things like old men's beards that speak to us of time. This is a definition of time written in thought-music. The image of how notes are linked together is especially beautiful.

I am ALMOST speechless. Line after line of beautiful sensitive phrases- -verse after verse of original thoughts and symbolism. I love love love love this poem.I tried and tried to pick out my favorite verse but quickly discovered that they all were... but that girl peeking around the tree was so so evocative.10++++++++++++++++ and a place on my fav poetry list and I vote this to be a Poem of the Day! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
