Time
doesn't really heal
It just leaves us scar tissue
Of the memories
We live with
And the scars
Shape us to become
the people we are

Time alone doesn't automatically lead to healing. So true. The scars shape us to become the people we are. They carve into our core and can leave lasting impacts. A perceptive poem.
