So true, then there will be another and another. Young lives wasted for oil and territory. Though I am supposed to be a war mongering pirate, I am a lover at heart. Good write.

Truth spoken, but I feel the world changing now... great hopes for a world revolution. It is an only hope to stop the manipulators do whatever they want. May Occupation movement live, grow and win, this is what this wonderful poem to me bring between the lines, a prayer for real total change of this world for the better... for real Peace with Love and Smiles. Thank you!

Just a few wars behind, but still potent and impactful. Been there, done that- please read my Before The Next Bomb Falls

Another gem and it's true about all our wars - and the military industrial complex keeps marching on - what's a few thousand lives when there's money to be made?

Its not fare that leaders just sent young soldiers to unnecessary wars they wont even fight. Great messages indeed.

This is true for all Wars. I liked the way you put it - Short, direct and to the point.

Futility is right, decisions will be made without intellects or the peoples' guidance. Money and ruthlessness conquers all in this world. I hope to live to see happier times. As I'm sure you still do. The another gulf war is a good poem, no longer of this time, but still it is of with mirror images it rhymes. The meaning of it will never go away. For we will forever continue to repeat the same mistakes.

Thanks for your comments on my poem War Adeline. I wrote it in the Tyn Cot Cemetery in Belgium which is the largest WW1 British Cemetery. I really love your poem Time for Another, which is about the Gulf Wars that started some 80 years after the conflict that my poem was about, it seems that some things never change!

This theme goes back much further than the Gulf War. We are the ones we have been waiting for to stop this madness. Well said.

Sadly, this has too much of a ring of truth to it. When the economy blunders, time to go plunder, I guess..(smile)

Plz send a copy to foreign secretary of US. dr.sakti PS. Thanks for your and some of my readers comments on word jargon that ‘…we can’t or don’t want to understand it’ as you wrote. Well I always appreciate, welcome criticism. I’m a batsman [poet] and have to face learn and imbibe lesion from every delivery [comment and criticism]. Do comment and cut criticism on my poems please. ds

Some instructer you are and I am from the Gulf and I commend you: It’s not your decision by any long-sight, And those who make ‘em won’t be in the fight. Who knows or cares if it’s wrong or right - It’s time for another Gulf War!
