I know, but at that time in my life, nothing was going right, people I loved walked out of my life, people I trusted betrayed me and so much more. I'm grown from that experience and learned a lot. I learned that life has it's up's and down's, but we decide which to live out. At that time I couldn't see any light at the end of the tunnel, but then, someone came into my life with a light that can't be burnt out. Life can be painful, and can be joyous. however it all comes down to which we choose to live our lives in: light or darkness. before this person walked into my life, I picked darkness, but now, all I see is light. I was trying to write this poem of a piece people can relate to, we all go through tough times and want our loves to just stop. However at the end of the day, we're thankful for that learning experience.
This poem is very descriptive of the depressed person perspective on life. It says nothing is going to be different if I'm not around, I've see the handwriting on the wall etc. Life is no longer facinating just hard. I've been hurt again. The poem is good but wrong about life's possibilities if you just continue the journey to it; s natural demise there are pleasant surprises ahead.
our lives not our loves.... oops...
