gently that the audience excite.

Look him in the eye in this stanza
as if seeking suffering and fear
as you look in defiance and splendor.

And then sign under the poem.
Push the chair under his feet
to know who killed the poet with the poem.

Namjesti omču od slova propisno.
Zategni kanap od riječi lagano,
nježno da se publika uzbudi.

U ovoj strofi ga pogledaj u oči
kao da tražiš patnju i strah
dok gledaš u prkos i sjaj.

A onda se potpiši ispod pjesme.
Odgurni mu stolicu ispod nogu
da znam ko je pjesmom ubio pjesnika.
