This is a strong, political, poem, Nimal. My own take on 'The Tigers' is that they started out doing right only to find that the Liberation Struggle was no more. Now, like every rag-tag guerrilla movement they have trouble justifying their existance. Whatever my view on the sentiment behind this poem cannot detract from the beauty that you have made out of the subject.

Much tragedy on both sides occurs in wars. But there will be wars, I think, as long as young men and women exist to fight them. Very sad poem, Nimal. Sandra
