Pets can cheer up our day by showing their love.They give us company and make us feel wanted.A nice poem, thanks for sharing.

is there a hint of humour/humor here? i think so. but just a hint. favorite lines: I retract that statement. Not sad at all, a poem for cat-lovers. well, though i don’t love cats, i do like the poem, very much. to MyPoemList. we don't grow corn in our lawns in the U.S. in fact, with the drought in California, lots of us do not grow grass! at least not in the dry months [which have invaded the wet months.... : ( …..] if you feel sufficiently sorry for us/U.S. send water! California will send YOU (some of) our sunshine. :) is the meat just a toy? bri ;)
