Thy Love
By Barner Keisham
I just got Thy call
I ran down-my hall
Nobody there, my mind like a cannon ball
Searching for Thee behind that wall.
I sail across life's ocean wide,
No fear shall flicker, with love as guide.
This thought—a tide that turned with pride,
Thou knowest well, I need not hide.
Where dwellest Thou in this dim town?
No charm remains, the world wears down.
Thy love I seek from sky to ground,
In silence deep, I hear the sound.
