Thunder & Light Poem by Dean Meredith

Thunder & Light

She was Venus & light
She was heaven's whisper
And how I loved her
And how she loved me

She was frankincense & mirth
She was gay time rock & rose
And how I loved her
And how she loved me

She was spectacular & haunting
She was drums in my night
And how I loved her
And how she loved me

She was a radiant switch
She was summery & rainy
And how I adored her
And how she adored me

She was a fleeting mirage
She was a butterfly winging it
And how I adored her
And how she adored me

She was incurable madness
She was reasons to stay or go
And how I adored her
And how she adored me
