Through The Silence Of Becoming Poem by Hanny Gompana

Through The Silence Of Becoming

In the quiet of her mind, a storm brews deep,
A whirlwind of choices, some awake, some asleep.
She stands at the crossroads, unsure where to go,
As the weight of her past is all she knows.

She once believed in paths, in promises made,
But now, the clarity's lost in the shade.
Was it the right choice, or was it just chance?
She wonders if life was more than a dance.

What was the cost of the roads she took?
She turns the pages, but the chapters all look
Like lessons she never thought she'd learn,
A heart still aching, but forced to return.

In a foreign land, so far from home,
She walks alone, feeling both lost and grown.
The distance from family, the silence of friends,
Yet in solitude, her heart mends and bends.

She doesn't know if this is fate's cruel test,
Or simply the pain that life grants to the blessed.
But somehow, she knows she must rise from this fall,
And walk forward, no matter how small.

The hurt is sharp, yet strangely kind,
For it's in this suffering that strength she'll find.
She's learning, she's changing, though it doesn't feel right,
Her heart breaking, yet flickering with light.

It was a wrong turn, perhaps a misstep in time,
But she knows now, with every tear, every climb,
That growth comes slowly, and the lesson is clear—
No path is perfect, but they all bring us near.

So she walks on, with courage in her soul,
Understanding now that the pain makes her whole.
Not broken, just shifting, transforming, remade,
Stronger for the journey, though the price was paid.

The future's unknown, yet still she will try,
For in the end, it's the struggle that makes us fly.
Through the quiet of solitude, she finds her way,
A new version of herself, rising today.
