'Thus I prognosticate a passing sadness Of my heart, while in my spirit I deduce That all is transient as the clouds above' I loved this poem from the title, through each line, each superb stanza, and like Mohammed, choose almost the exact lines because smoke blows away and clouds are water, water seen unseen chances states, in clouds air water is unseen yet still remains, water frozen is ice, heated melts, then as steam rises in air to invisibility; these images are aesthetically pleasing, the beauty of nature holds many life mysteries in which it is so easy to loose ourselves.
Only a poet can think and imagin like this and sees what others don't, a wonderful poem with great imageries,10+++ I quote: Thus I prognosticate a passing sadness Of my heart, while in my spirit I deduce That all is transient as the clouds above, And I pierce through what my eyes behold:
This poem has a lovely diction! You have wisely used the passing cloud and smoke to represent the transience of life and the sad realities of life occasionally blurring our environs like rising smoke! A 10
