Deep within the woodland green,
Where bluebells grow,
A special scene,
Where all is quiet,
All is calm,
I hear the sounds of nature's birds,
All around they can be heard,
For then I see the fine red robin,
That flies my way,
His tail a bobbing,
I feel that somehow you are here,
Amongst the woodland sounds I hear,
Remembering those summer days,
Sadly gone along life's way,
I think of you with memories dear,
A sign from you for robin's near,
Giving me that special lift,
Time spent with you,
My lifelong gift.
