Those Were The Days. Poem by SY Wong ...

Those Were The Days.

A bunch of vibrant daisies for my teacher
then, she would place it on her table with a smile
on my way to school
i sang as i walk
during the early hours, afternoon
i picked the flowers, peacefully
yellow and vibrant
daisies
lots of them
just hoping to cheer her
while she teaches us for hours
just want her to cheer up
our teacher of all
just be a good student
hoping she would be..
still thinking of her
and the vibrant daisy-flowers were everywhere
wonderful!
And we were like a class of tiny children, tender..adorable!
learning solely.. our favorite English.
