Those Tears Were Souvenirs. Poem by Ross Mabey

Those Tears Were Souvenirs.

Poem - Those Tears Were Souvenirs.

By - Ross Mabey.

I thought our love,
Would last forever,
We had been through,
So much together.

We laughed and loved,
In each others arms.
And shared so many,
Happy hours together.

Then late one night,
A knock on the door.
Changed my life forever,
You were here no more.

Those tears were souvenirs,
They helped me to be strong.
So that I could carry on,
I still feel your tender touch,
That I loved so very much.
