Those Now Born Poem by Richard Wlodarski

Those Now Born

Rating: 5.0

We are lost and forgotten
The children of Atlantis
Searching for existence
Beyond this mere life

We are the children of Woodstock
Inheriting love and such peace
The children of Hendrix
Looking for a quick fix

We are the children of yesterday
Bidding on a better tomorrow
The children of today
Grounded in such dismay

There does seem to be less hope in the world than 30 or 40 years ago. I worry for what my own daughter will face in the coming decades.

Tragically, so many young people are starting to give up way too soon. The good news is that there's a very strong youth Christian movement happening at this time in history.
