Those Better Things Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Those Better Things

Rating: 5.0

When your feeling really low,
Way down in the dumps,
And there's no where to go,
Your thoughts are mixed up,
You feel you could scream!
The rainbow has gone,
Clinging onto your dreams,
No shoulder to lean on,
No one cares and you wonder why?
Then out of the blue,
A butterfly drifts by,
That gives you hope,
Lifts your spirits high,
Your emotions are stirred,
From deep inside,
Then maybe there's hope,
That tomorrow will bring,
A better day,
Those better things.
