But it WAS a little scary when, looking at my photo on a new driver's license last year, I thought: 'Gee, in this DMV photo I look like my aging dad! ' But at least MY nose was not 'running'. bri : )
I don't mourn the deaths of my parents though they did a fine job raising me and my 4 siblings; Mom & Dad had good kids to work with [ well, maybe not my 'little brother so much' ]. (cont.)

Touching piece. Nice Oxymoron, Lee Ann. Five stars
This poem really touches your soul, depicting the grief and sadness of a loving daughter
I think all little girls hold their father in their hearts forever... the love lives on
This beautiful heart wrenching poem was a difficult read for me. Because somehow, he and I were never able to fully express our love for one another. LeeAnn, how can your father still be angry with you when you're writing such honestly good stuff about him? !
Overwhelming sadness... what a wonderful tribute to your father. Loved it!
2) and this poem you wrote is as beautiful as my memories to my dad. Bravo, dear LeeAnn!
1) A heart-wrenching poem, he was my everything since he was such a gifted father and because my beloved Mum was constantly sick, a phobia from her war, he took me always to our favourite ice saloon on his bike
Such a beautiful and emotional poem to a father. Wonderful LeeAnn....Thanks! Top stars
I'm back, so soon, to this daughter/father poem. I'm sure this is true (if the poem is about you & yours, but make it 'I'm'. 'I still yr little girl; the apple of yr eye'
