This Weird World, Getting Bizarre - Ii Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

This Weird World, Getting Bizarre - Ii

Rating: 5.0

He saw the duct-taped art work,
Titled ‘Comedian' and got irked,
So grabbing it he ate it—
Comic end of a comic bit!

A piece sold for hundred thousand,
One banana, just imagine,
A weird thing meeting a weird end!
Such is then the global art scene.

The museum director with this thought toyed:
No, the idea of art is not destroyed,
The idea remains still one whole,
No offence done, so LOL!

New banana replaced at once,
The stunt ends, the drama still runs,
Modern art, often so weird,
Now gets bizarre, do mark my word.

Interesting poem. New way of looking at an object of art and a creative art form in the modern day scenario. Thanks Aniruddha ji.
