This Was In Someone's Nose Poem by Wamii Flyer

This Was In Someone's Nose

My son
Came home engrossed in fun
He was holding money in his small hands
Spoke between pants
'Dad, look! A dollar! '
He said, fixing his collar
I took a closer look
And that's all it took
To realize this was no ordinary dollar
Made me tug on my own collar
It had white dust particles around the tip
Not to mention, it was wrinkled; they for sure rolled it
My precious son was holding an illegal disgrace
I snatched it out of his hands with grace
'No son of mine'
I started with a sure smile
'Will ever touch nor go near where this was wandering'
I left, back up to my room pondering
