Oh Karen this is so good! It makes me reminisce on my two that are now grown,1 is 6'4 the other 5' 10 :) Their exquisitely silky soft skin when babes was so beautiful, the baby soft, blonde curly hair...now they are men, and as you say...large toes, square shoulders: 0) ......Such a beautiful poem.....love it.
