This Hollow Age Poem by DM W

This Hollow Age

Rating: 5.0

The grim skeletons complain about Time.
Faithful poets lament the death of God.
Modern prophets can't perceive warning signs.
Political mandarins merely nod
Like obedient worms. Hyenas dance
On the graves of lions. One trick ponies
Are worth billions of dollars. What chance
Is there of real change? It's all a pipe dream!

A powerful commentary of the modern times- its people and politics. Unbiased umpires are also needed to tell the truth. A good poem creates awareness. Thanks.
