In a sense, we are all refugees Who have reached this world-life, ‘This here and now'.We make ourselves As much at home as we can, Without futile nostalgia or repulsion., , , , , , , a meditation on death and life and the present experiences........ a fine poem which makes the reader think a l ot. tony
My note at the end of this verse is the motto I intend to follow. No repining, no blaming of anything, anyone.
When things go wrong, as they will, however carefully we plan, we need endurance, self-confidence, positive spirit. Let us not repine, and blame God or Fate or others; likewise, when life is enjoyable, let us take delight in the smallest thing, rather than claim credit for the turn of fortune.
