Touching expiation and soliloquy of a once hardened criminal kept in a cell wonderfully portrayed. A well deserved poem of the day. Congrats.

The dark shines fear on the hardest criminals, Sleeping in fits and starts a truth in actuals, Crying at 3am wishing to just be safely home, We tire of being isolated and sovery alone, guilt and loneliness, isolation. very fine poem. tony

Powerful poem...that conveys the sheer wretchedness of the prison experience. With this in mind, I wholeheartedly recommend ' The Ballad of Reading Gaol' by Oscar Wilde. Anyway, I digress... congratulations Nell. It's definitely a 10 from me! !

In prison or in lonely hours one is forced to contemplate, comes face to face with stark ugly realities of life. Very vivid sketch of some one going through soul searching. Congratulations.
