You're an endless river,
I'm a hungry sea
drying up on all sides
for a trickle
of drinking water,
as you always dry up
before reaching me;
I swell, I shout,
I jump, I hop
like a hopeless trout
to catch the crimson Sky
and drink from clouds
for I remain thirsty
despite my richness
with a glum inside
but a noisy surface
as I don't know how to flow
and where to go
without any cramp,
how to outreach the shores
to drink from the well
on the sprawling beach,
be happy, full and free?
