Since I am also struggling for subjects I know exactly how you feel, but even if they have the same tittle your rhyming no one can steal.

It is nice idea to choose subjects of one's own choice and also inking own opinion.Our views, our way of thinking is more or less reflected in our writings.But we should not stop writing on subjects just because hordes of other writings are there on that subject.We should be open to ideas put in by different writers of different genre, get clue from their writings and hone our skill.Human emotions are same.and so all writers write on common subject like love, hate, poverty, pain etc.We should study their approach and treatment of the subject.All writers are unique.We should read as much as we can.Thank you dear Anish for touching an interesting topic.
