Thine Own Poem by Laurence Overmire

Thine Own

There is contradiction in what you suppose.
Can you wear a man's armor, yet
Wield a feminine heart?

It is the power of woman, is it not?
To slice through steel
With but a look?

Why then pretend to be man?
When woman is so much more
Commanding.
