(they Said) Homeless Before Illegals Poem by Randy McClave

(they Said) Homeless Before Illegals

They say homeless before illegals
Vultures never before eagles,
I hear that belief many people say
Almost every single day.
We are home of the brave and also the free
Our forefathers all came from across the sea,
No longer did they want to roam
In America they found a new home.
Now a lot of Americans are screaming
And the same thoughts they are dreaming,
How a wall on our borders should be built
Building it without shame or reverence or guilt.
Their beliefs with others racists are the same
Because of hardships someone else is to blame,
Then they all tell their constant lies
Lady Liberty in shame and disgust still cries.
Now protesters and liars accuse and complain
Blaming immigrants for their sorrow and pain,
And their stories is almost identical every single day
Hate and lies is all that they speak and say.
Illegals come to steal an American's job
They are here to murder rape and rob,
That lie many Americans believe and scream
Illegals are just seeking the American dream.
An illegal has never begged me for a dollar
In shame or bitterness they never did waller,
'Our homeless'! many scream should always come first
The illegals they scream should all be cursed.
I guess the Bible many of them never did read
As they plant another hateful immigrant seed,
The foreigner amongst you must not be treated with scorn
Immigrants should be treated as native born.
People seem to forget that Bible verse
As they scream and protest and also curse,
But, God remembers all that is said
He wrote what was read.
If you ever look on the street corner
Those begging for money are never a foreigner,
And no matter what you believe in
Our government and church's always help them.
Illegals don't care to work
For a job they don't complain or wear a smirk,
But, people still hate and despise them all
They scream they will cause our country to fall.
Sadly people still gripe and complain and will post
How the homeless needs our help the most,
But, this main fact all will confess
Those who hate the immigrants never helped the homeless.
Many have screamed, 'let us build us a wall'
As China and Russia did I do recall,
'Let's build the wall', they scream before it's too late
Before, we seal our own and our neighbors fate.
'We must keep all illegal immigrants out'
The protesters continue to scream and shout,
All immigrants want to do is to rob, murder and steal
In our hearts terror they want to fill.
They many scream, 'they bring with them only deceit and drugs'
And they are all evil and thieves and thugs,
They don't believe in Jesus like we do
And they hate both me and you.
They always cheat and they alway lie
They don't even care if we are hurt or live or die,
Just look at them
In their eyes like their soul you'll only see bedlam.
The protesters screamed and said it one more time
Let's build a wall before those illegals commit another crime,
They have no right to ever come here
All they want to do is to fill our country with sin and fear.
Let's Instead build a very great wall
Because of others and what they had said and what they saw,
But, instead of hating people because where they came from
We instead need to built a mirror, to see what we've become.
